Why

People searching for a lawyer usually don't know who to call. They search, they see the same handful of firms at the top of the results, and they call those firms — not because those firms are the right fit, just because those firms are the ones they found. When that firm is too busy, doesn't handle that kind of case, or doesn't want it, the caller doesn't stop — they call the next firm, and the next, working down the search results one rejection at a time. Most of those calls are wasted: the firm doesn't want the case, and the caller has no better way to find someone who does.

Instead of sending that caller back out to keep dialing around, a firm can ask if they'd like to be passed along to this feed. Other lawyers can scan the feed and reach out directly to anyone whose case fits what they take.

How the feed works

It's a live feed, not a referral service. When you pass along an inquiry you can't take, it posts to the feed. Only lawyers we have approved can view the feed and decide, on their own, whether to reach out. We never pick a lawyer for anyone, we don't match or recommend anyone, and nobody pays us or you anything for this.

Access to both sides is controlled: only firms we have approved can post inquiries to the feed, and only lawyers get access to view it — nobody else is let into this environment.

Under the hood, the feed runs on a nostr relay in real time. Entries can be updated or withdrawn, and lawyers (or their AI agents) can connect straight to the relay instead of only browsing a page. You don't need to understand any of that to use it.

Reputation

Every firm that posts to the feed does so under its own account, so contributions are attributable, not anonymous. We're building a reputation framework on top of that: firms that consistently pass along good-faith leads will build a track record inside the system over time. We haven't finalized how that record translates into any specific ranking or benefit yet — that's still being designed — but the framework is being built into the feed from day one so it's ready once we do.
